In a market saturated with mass-produced groceries and artificially polished staples, the definition of "pure food" often gets lost in industrial shortcuts. Conventional processing strips away outer bran layers, subjects oils to extreme heat and chemical solvents, and coats lentils in artificial glazes.

Green Blossom approaches food production differently. By pairing traditional, gentle processing techniques with modern supply chain technology, the brand preserves the natural vitality of food from harvest to kitchen.

Here is a closer look at the processing methods that define Green Blossom’s organic range.

1. Direct Farm-Gate Sourcing (Non-GMO & Certified Organic)

Purity starts well before processing begins. Green Blossom works directly with organic-certified farming clusters. Crops are grown without synthetic chemical fertilizers, toxic pesticides, or genetically modified seeds. Sourcing directly at the farm gate ensures that grains and seeds enter the supply chain fresh, clean, and fully traceable.

2. Zero-Polishing Philosophy for Pulses and Grains

Conventional dal and rice often undergo heavy mechanical polishing using water, oil, or artificial finishing agents to achieve an unnaturally glossy appearance. This process strips away the nutrient-dense aleurone layer and dietary fiber.

  • Retaining Whole Grain Nutrition: Green Blossom pulses and grains (like Sona Masoori, unpolished ragi, and whole moong) undergo mechanical de-husking only.

  • No Artificial Glazes: Free from synthetic polishing or color enhancers, the grains retain their natural germ, fiber, and mineral content.

3. Traditional Cold-Pressing for Oils

Industrial edible oils frequently undergo high-temperature extraction (up to 200°C) and hexane chemical solvent washes, which destroy fragile fatty acids and natural antioxidants.

Green Blossom employs low-temperature cold-pressing (Kachi Ghani / Wood-Pressing):

  • Seeds are slowly crushed at ambient temperatures without chemical solvents.

  • Natural aromas, phytosterols, and fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, and E) remain intact.

4. Vedic Bilona Method for A2 Gir Cow Ghee

Unlike commercial ghee made by heating industrial cream or butter, traditional A2 ghee is crafted through the time-tested Bilona method:

  1. Pure milk from grass-fed indigenous Gir cows is boiled and naturally cultured into curd.

  2. The curd is hand- or slow-churned bidirectionally to separate the butter (makkhan).

  3. The butter is slowly clarified on a low flame to yield aromatic, granular, easily digestible A2 ghee packed with butyric acid and fat-soluble nutrients.

5. Low-Temperature Grinding for Spices & Flours

High-friction industrial grinding generates heat that can evaporate natural essential oils—the source of a spice’s flavor, aroma, and medicinal value.

  • Green Blossom uses slow, low-temperature grinding for spices and flours (such as organic besan and turmeric).

  • This preserves the volatile aromatic compounds, natural color, and antioxidant potency.

6. Tech-Optimized, Chemical-Free Packaging

Once processed, organic goods remain vulnerable to moisture and pest infestation because they contain no chemical preservatives. Green Blossom uses food-grade, moisture-barrier packaging and optimizes inventory movement through agritech supply chain management, ensuring products reach consumers at peak freshness without chemical fumigants.

Towards the end We can conclude that processing isn't about altering food—it is about respecting it. By avoiding aggressive industrial refinement and sticking to unpolished, low-heat, and chemical-free techniques, Green Blossom ensures that what reaches your plate is as close to nature as possible.
